Natura 2000 Network

The Natura 2000 network is a European ecological system designed to preserve biodiversity by protecting natural habitats, as well as animal and plant species of international importance. It also contributes to their maintenance and restoration. Hungary declared its Natura 2000 network in 2004 upon joining the European Union.
Two Natura 2000 sites are located within Tata’s administrative area:
